Non-Smoking Male Wants to Move Mid-May, 2026

Hello all;

Please read this profile carefully so that you get a good idea of what I want before you decide whether to reply or not. Based on previous replies, some of you haven’t read this profile properly, especially the bit about my preferred location and preferred move-in date.

I realise that I’m posting this quite a while before the middle of May. I’m presently in Dubai and when the situation improves, I’ll be doing a bit of backpacking before returning to London.

Please, please, please, please know what areas I am looking at, before replying to me.

Please note that nothing is written in stone. For example, I put a move-in date of approximately the middle of May. If something suitable is available a bit earlier or later, then no worries as I can easily adapt.

VERY IMPORTANT: my girlfriend, who doesn’t smoke, is from the USA & might visit for two weeks or so. She works in advanced oncology research & can sometimes work from home. Depending on various circumstances, I can pay extra for the time when she visits me.

Because of my job, I am looking to live anywhere within the following rectangle: as far west as the Chiswick roundabout, as far east as Parliament Square, north of Hyde Park. South of the river is sort of ok, it just can't be too far from any of the bridges.

I work many hours & we may not see each other that often, If you're a chatty type person (as am I a bit) & if you like travel, we can probably talk about travel a lot. I've backpacked in 157 countries. i

My needs are minimal. I mostly eat out & will often shower at a gym. As I have a company car, I don’t need to live near a tube station/similar. Please note that I've been entrusted with a very expensive (about £115K) car & it's beyond imperative that it's parked safely at night, or as safe as anything can be in London these days!!!

However, nothing is written in stone. The location and rent are a little flexible. Just let me know if you have something that might work.

I don’t smoke anything (never have) and have no problems with most pets.

I’m not a party animal & I don't drink.

I have a totally clear and very recent (March, 2025) enhanced CRB/DBS (criminal records bureau
/DisclosureBarringService) background check which is available for you to view if you wish. I also have CTC clearance.

I earn a decent salary and will have no problem paying the rent on time. I do not need a UK guarantor. If you do, then we cannot proceed.

My age will put some of you off. No worries there and it’s good to know that in advance.
