Urgent short-term room needed for me + senior cat

Hello,

I'm looking for a room, short-term let or sublet for me and my lovely car starting this Thursday or Friday for at least 3-4 weeks.

I was due to move into a new place this week, but the arrangement unexpectedly fell through, leaving me urgently looking for somewhere to stay while I find a longer-term solution. I'm hoping to find somewhere calm, safe and comfortable where I can regroup for a few weeks.

A little about me: I'm 39, employed full-time in a professional role, and work in the office 2-3 days a week. I'm quiet, tidy, responsible and respectful of other people's homes. I'm sociable and friendly but also very independent and happy to keep myself to myself.

I also have a 13-year-old cat who would be moving with me. She's friendly, affectionate and impeccably behaved. She's litter trained, has never damaged furniture, and spends most of her day sleeping. Because she's older, she's happiest in a peaceful environment. The only challenge is that she doesn't get along with other animals, so a pet-free household would be ideal.

This is very much a temporary arrangement while I secure permanent accommodation, but if you think your room or property could be a good fit, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.
