Clean, tidy and quiet professional

Hello,

Having spent the last couple of years travelling around NZ and Australia, I've recently returned to the UK and am moving to Scotland (my ancestral Motherland). I'll be arriving in Glasgow 1st May, so am on the hunt for a new place to call “home”.

Finding the right person to live with is the most important thing to me. I’d say I am down-to-earth, quiet, respectful, independent and tidy. Fairly introverted and keep to myself a lot of the time, but easy to get on with and friendly.

I prefer home to be a peaceful retreat from the outside world and any socialising I do would be outside of the house. I'm afraid the days of living in a party house, or somewhere that frequent entertaining happens, are behind me. Hoping to live with someone similarly minded :). Generally live a pretty clean and healthy (if you don't count the chocolate addiction!) lifestyle.
Also a super early bird, so you'd probably have all the space you could hope for in the evenings. A previous home owner myself, I would treat your place as I would my own.

Ideally, would to share with one other, however, could be flexible depending on the set-up.
Would consider a short-term option while looking for the right longer term place.

As I'll be going carless, my preference is to be based somewhere central-ish, or close to good transport links.

Being new to Glasgow, I'm going to be contracting and temping initially (background predominantly in HR/Recruitment and general office support roles), while I get my bearings and 'acclimatise' to the city. This will in no way impact my ability to pay rent moving forward.
