Pilot looking for room close to LBA

Hi, I’m Mike, a 40-year-old Jet2 pilot based at Leeds Bradford Airport looking for a room to use while I’m working. I own a home in Lincoln and return there on my days off, so I won’t be around all the time.

My roster varies throughout the year. During the summer months I’ll be working full-time and spending most of my time close to the airport, although there may occasionally be periods when I’m on standby and need to remain within easy reach of work. Over the winter, my flying reduces to part-time hours, meaning I’ll be back home in Lincoln much more frequently.

Alongside my flying career, I also help run a small Airbnb business, which keeps me busy outside of work. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym regularly, spending time with family and friends, and generally leading an active lifestyle.

I’m looking for somewhere to stay until I’m able to secure a base transfer to East Midlands Airport, although this is unlikely to happen until after the summer season at the earliest.

I’m clean, tidy, respectful, and considerate of other people’s routines and shared spaces. I’m easy-going and friendly, happy to have a chat, but I also appreciate personal space and downtime. I would make a reliable, low-maintenance housemate.

Ideally, I’m looking for a small household with friendly, easy-going people who enjoy a relaxed and respectful home environment. A location close to Leeds Bradford Airport would be ideal. I’m hoping to find a spacious, bright double room with a comfortable bed, preferably with blackout curtains, and either an en-suite bathroom or a bathroom nearby.
