2 professionals + cat looking for 2 double rooms
Hi! My name is Eleanor, I am 32F and work as a theatre venue manager in west London. I am looking to move with my best friend and current flatmate, David (29M), who works as a TV technical supervisor, into a new place, ideally October time. We are looking for 2x double rooms somewhere ideally with a bit of shared living space. We are also bringing my beloved old man, Toby the ginger cat.
David and I are super friendly and sociable but not really party-people. We love hanging out but equally enjoy our own space and are both pretty independent. Mainly we socialise out of the house, though we're always game to host dinner (I'm the cook!). We're pretty clean and tidy and would prefer to live with like-minded flatmates.
I'm creative and into theatre. In my free time I volunteer as a costume designer at our local theatre in Ealing, go running, check out a museum or gallery and do weightlifting regularly. I like to cook from scratch but I'm not culinary-mad on the regular and won't be hogging the kitchen. David loves cycling, airsoft, and gaming. He enjoys keeping active and is also into weightlifting (and much stronger than me, alas!) and is a crazy talented fashion photographer on the side. He's recently on a baking kick and loves making sweet treats for me and our neighbours.
Toby the cat is a sweet old man at the big age of 13. He is still very active and spritely, though he spends much of the day napping now, and he LOVES attention. He does like to sleep in my room, but he is sociable with humans and ideally we would be moving in with people who like cats around. Toby likes to sit on the stairs and sing the song of his people to greet you when you come home and adores chasing bouncy balls around the flat. Ideally we'd be moving into a pet-free flat with Toby as the only pet, but he did grow up with dogs and I am sure he would be fine with a dog friend again with some gentle introduction. I would be wary about moving into a flat with another cat as I am worried it would stress him out.
David and I are flexible on where we live but are looking for somewhere off the main road, ideally a flat in a residential area, as Toby is anxious around the sound of traffic.
