Looking for a chilled friendly house share

Hi there,

I’m Arran, I’m 32 and have lived in Bristol for coming up to 10 years now. I'm looking for a chill, friendly house share, as my current tenancy is ending due to the landlord wanting to sell up.

I work for an environmental organisation, do some music stuff on the side and also volunteer at a community radio station as well. I usually work from the office about 3 days a week and 2 days WFH, which is usually 8-4 and would be in the room and not in any communal space. I play drums in a few bands (I wouldn’t keep a kit in the house! I practise on pads, at respectable hours, with headphones on and am mindful of housemates).

I love music and going to gigs, also enjoy cycling, the outdoors in general, pubs, cinema + film nights, reading, photography (I’m very crap at it), football (not the football lad type though, dw), the odd bigger night out/festival… basically all the usual stuff really.

My budget is 700pcm all in, ideally, but could stretch to about 800pcm all in if really pushed. Preferred areas are any of: Montpelier, Cotham, Redland, Bishopston, Ashley Down, St Werberghs, Easton, Greenbank, St George, Fishponds, Bedminster, Southville, but happy to look at other areas.

I’ve lived in house shares for over 10 years now, so I’m more than happy to chip in with all the usual, help with keeping the house clean and tidy and generally want to contribute to living in a peaceful, homely environment.

I’m looking for a relaxed place instead of party house. I’m also looking for a longer-term place, where we’d hopefully get on as friends and hang out occasionally (house dinners, pub trips etc etc).

I’m available to move at any time from now to mid-May, but I will be away from the end of May to mid-June and will then be available to move again from the end of June.
