Looking for a place in London FROM Jan/Feb 27

🌟 Hi, I’m Jéssica!

I’m a female professional in my early 30s, originally from Portugal but living in the UK for a long time, and I’m looking for a double room in London from January/February 2027. Open any time after that too but by April I would like to be fully in London already.

Looking for professionals but also open to mature students (and that way we wouldn’t need to pay council tax as I’m a professional but also doing my PhD).

I’m looking for a spacious double room, as I have a chest of drawers, a desk, a few other bits of furniture (including a big TV!), and quite a lot of clothes!
Ideally, the room would have a built-in wardrobe and enough space for my desk. If there happened to be room for a desk in a quiet corner of the living room or a study room, that would be a massive bonus, but it’s not essential!

I’m hoping to find a modern, clean home shared with no more than two other people, preferably around my age. Cleanliness is really important to me - I always tidy up after myself and like to keep my living space spotless. As I work from home a few days a week (when not home I travel a lot for work), I’d love a home that feels calm, clean, and comfortable to work in or come back to. An ensuite (ideally), though I can be flexible for the right place.

Location-wise, I’m looking for somewhere with good transport links, ideally somewhere within less than 30 minutes to King’s Cross and Paddington. I drive in and out of London a lot so somewhere with good links to the motorway (hence why I prefer North London). Cycling wise, less than 20 minutes to Kings X would be ideal too.

I occasionally have family members or friends come to visit, so it would be lovely to find a welcoming household that’s happy with the occasional guest.

I’m new in town so someone that would like the occasional plan together would be nice too 🥹

👋 A bit more about me:
I’m sociable and easygoing, and I love getting to know my housemates but I also really value and respect personal space. At home, I tend to keep things calm and relaxed, though I’m always up for a coffee after work, a pub trip, a run 👀 , or a cosy movie night. I’d love to live somewhere where everyone’s comfortable with each other and able to communicate (in my experience so far so good! 😊 )

I work from home occasionally, so a house that’s moderately quiet during the day would suit me well.

- Stretching
- Creative writing
- Skateboarding (I try...Ok, I tried like 7 times)
- Yoga (I’ve technically only done it once, but everyone mentions it in their ads so I’ll keep it here too 😄)

🏡 What I’m looking for:

- A room in a friendly, respectful household
- An ensuite (ideally), though I can be flexible for the right place
