Looking for a place!

I’m looking for either a single or double room, with a budget of up to £1000 including bills.

My preferences:
• Room in a house with a maximum of 3 bedrooms
• No couples please
• Female house preferred, but mixed is fine too
• Live-in landlord is okay (as long as there’s still a comfortable level of independence and privacy)
• Ideally looking for a long-term home

Location:
I’m currently based around Angel / King’s Cross and have friends in the area, so I’d ideally love to stay around North/Central London. I’m also open to areas like Parsons Green, Earl’s Court and West London generally if it feels like the right fit.

Move-in:
I’m flexible with timing and not in a rush to move. I’d like to take my time finding the right place and also give proper notice at my current home.

A bit about me:
I’m 35, European, and work in healthcare with regular Monday–Friday hours, so I’m generally out during working hours.

I’m friendly, easy-going and enjoy a good balance between social time and personal space. I like working out, cinema, travelling, going out for a drink, exploring new places in London and generally having fun, but I also enjoy quiet evenings at home and time to recharge.

I’m hoping to find more than just a room — ideally a place where people genuinely get along and enjoy a good atmosphere at home. I value having a friendly relationship with the people I live with, while also respecting each other’s personal space and independence.

Age itself isn’t very important to me — I care much more about shared values, lifestyle and being on a similar level in terms of maturity.

Not looking for a party house, but more for a calm, respectful and considerate environment. I’d ideally love a home with a stable atmosphere where people are mindful of shared spaces and where there isn’t a constant flow of overnight guests or extra people regularly staying over.

One important thing for me: I’m looking for a clean and tidy home. I’m a clean and organised person myself, take care of where I live as if it were my own place, and really value having a comfortable and well-kept home environment.
