Creative non-smoker looking for a new home
Hi folks,
Please read my Ted-Talk carefully. Thank you x
If I have "shown interest" in your flat and you have "early bird" please kindly contact me. I've upgraded to the paid option in the past only to have most of my messages ignored :(
Now that my Ted-Talk is done, please read on. ;)
I'm looking for a double room/flat in London within reasonable distance of Covent Garden (20-30min). Ideally around Kentish Town/Camden/Islington/Muswell Hill/Notting Hill/Shorditch etc.
** I am prepared to pay more for an en-suit/own bathroom or if the room is very spacious/has an office attached. **
I have my own furniture, and could bring it, so I don't need a furnished room. (But II could put it into storage and just bring my mattress). A garden or balcony would be nice, but not a must.
Looking for long term ideally.
So far I've mainly lived with people in theirlate 20s- early 30s and it's been great! :D My moving date is flexible, I rather look for the perfect fit than a quick solution. (currently living in a house with 7 people in total - it's manageable, but it does get a lot - hence striving for a change)
Here is bit about me. I work full time as a multimedia assistant and filmmaker/actor (yes I am one of those). At times I have to travel a lot for my job, other times I work from home.
I also teach Stage Combat - hence the last picture.
Therefore I am looking for a place that is not a party flat - however, I do enjoy things like "flat-pizza/movie nights" I am very sociable and outgoing but equally enjoy my private space.
I'm a coffee lover, dancer, baker, book worm, traveler, explorer, language nerd (learning Korean atm.) photographer, film and theatre geek.
I come with a few household supplies, like a Kitchen Aid, baking supplies (vegan/gluten-free/nut-free/sugar-free home baked cookies anyone? FYI they can include all of the above as well) and a coffee machine.
I also have a sewing machine. My friends always say "Is there anything you DON'T have?" (Yes a ladder...).
If you think that may be "too much stuff", I do have a storage unit I can use so the flat doesn't feel cluttered.
If you have a cat (dogs are great, too) - amazing! ;)
I like to be around decent and kind humans who have a positive energy and spread good vibes.)
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
