Reliable Professional Needs a Studio (not sharing)

I'm a 43-year-old professional, non-smoker, friendly and considerate, looking for a studio or 1 bedroom flat to live on my own. I'm currently NOT considering flat/house sharing. I can be flexible with the move-in date anytime between now and 31 August. Any location on the Northern line with easy access to Clerkenwell/Angel area would be preferred.

I'd like to rent directly from a private landlord who is fair, reasonable and considerate. In return, I offer total reassurance that I will keep the property in good condition, always pay on time, and be a responsible and reliable tenant.

A little about me: I work in education currently on a permanent full-time contract as Academic Adviser in a university in London supporting and advising students. My job is mostly on-site with some flexibility to work from home once a week.

Due to the nature of my job, I hold an up-to-date enhanced DBS check and I am happy to provide evidence of this if required.

I am a well-travelled, easy-going and sociable guy who lives a busy life. I have previously lived in the USA, Spain, Canada and Brazil. I am fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and I have a keen interest in languages, psychology, film and culture.

When at home after work, I need peace and quiet to recharge. I also like to keep things clean and tidy, and I usually cook my daily meals.

In my free time I enjoy reading, watching films & series and relaxing. I also enjoy going to the theatre, going for walks and working out at the gym.

I am an honest, responsible and reliable individual with a caring and nurturing personality.

I've been renting my current studio for almost 3 years now, have always paid on time, and have kept the flat in great condition. my landlord would be happy to provide a reference. I'm only moving out because the property has been sold.
