36 year old female returning to London

I’m Shelby. I’m returning to London after a year of travelling and working in the US, looking for a cozy place for me and my goofy dog, Dudley, to call home from mid-to-late October.

What I’m looking for:

Looking for a (furnished) double room in a dog-friendly flatshare with 1 or 2 other professional 30-48 year olds who are tidy, sociable, respectful and easy-going. Bonus points if there’s outdoor space, whether a garden or balcony!

I’m open to affordable, shorter term (1-3 month) sublets as I find my feet so if that’s what you’re after feel free to reach out.

About me:

I’m a 36 year old professional female, originally from the US but lived in London for 11 years and am excited to get back. I’m very active and social but I also love having dinners and cozy nights at home, so would love a flatmate(s) who’s happy to have a chat, share a meal or go out for a walk, but who’s also content on their own. For work, I’m a freelance strategy and operations consultant for small creative and wellness businesses, all of which I do from home so ideally there’s good wifi and space to work. (Although I’ll be looking for more permanent employment in the new year.)

I’m joined by my dog Dudley - a goofy, affectionate 5 year old labradoodle (no shedding!) who will be eager to make you his new best friend. He’d be fine with other dogs but unfortunately no cats.

I’ll arrive in London on October 24 so ideally the rental period will start around then, but I can be flexible a few weeks either side of that for the right place! Even though I'm not there for in-person viewings, I'm very open to having a FaceTime for a virtual viewing and meet up to see if we align.
