Double Bedroom in Ground Floor Flat

Hi, I’m Becks! 👋

I’m looking for a friendly, sociable flatmate to share my home with.

Ideally, I’d love to find someone who enjoys a bit of a chat, is happy to spend time together now and again, and wants this to feel like their home just as much as mine. I’m not looking for someone who just rents a room and disappears behind their bedroom door!

A little about me

I work Monday–Friday, 9–5, and I’m in the office Monday to Wednesday. Wednesday evenings are usually taken up at scuba club (one of my favourite hobbies!), and I’m also studying an online Marketing degree alongside work.

As we’re heading into winter, I’m embracing a slightly more homebody lifestyle. Think cosy evenings, cooking, the occasional film night and generally enjoying being at home. That said, I’m always easily tempted by a pint at the pub after a long day at work! 🍻

A bit about the space

I’ll be renovating the smaller bedroom into a double office, which makes the flat particularly ideal for someone who works from home. There’s plenty of opportunity to have a comfortable working setup, and I’m not fussy about us working from home on the same days.

There’s also a garden, although I’ll be honest, it needs a fair bit of TLC! It’s currently not suitable or safe for pets.

Parking is on street, but so far I’ve never had an issue finding a space within around 50 metres of the flat.
