This is a large 6 bedroom furnished character semi-detached house share for 6 single lodgers, not couples.

The house is in South Luton LU1, a 15 minute walk from Luton town centre and university, bus stops #3, #321 and #610 (Hertfordshire university) and 2 parks a stone's throw away. The house retains it's Edwardian character with the benefits of generous room sizes. Street parking is available nearby.

The communal area has a large kitchen (electric cooker & hob, 2 large fridge/freezers, dishwasher) and laundry (washing machine & tumble drier), 2 shared bathrooms (1 bath & shower, the other shower), patio and secluded quiet garden with resident frog, fast broadband, Satellite TV in all bedrooms. The house enjoys double glazing, modern system-boiler/large cylinder and 6kW solar panels.

About myself: I intend to be a live-in landlord, though infrequently as it depends on my freelance IT work, and expect to stay here half the week or less.. I enjoy the value for money that Luton offers and the nearby parks.

My preference for female lodgers is down to a few unacceptable experiences from males, as lodgers and in business, so naturally I am more guarded towards males and protective towards females. It is a bias I am conscious of and try not to apply it unfairly, but a preference nevertheless.

A fair usage policy is adopted for energy, but the solar panels and battery reduce this during sunny days. Otherwise, energy bills over £300 pcm are shared.
