Right in the heart of Cookham, two minutes walk from the High Street (with numerous eateries), this is a beautiful Victorian home, delightfully modernised.

A large and luxurious room with ensuite is offered for, generally, up to four nights per week, but some flexibility is possible should you occasionally need extra days.

The room has a super-king size bed, television, cosy chair and small desk. A microwave oven is available in your room should you wish to use it, but you also have full use of the kitchen. There are lovely double-aspect views from the bedroom into the garden.

The ensuite is lavishly spacious, with separate bath and shower.

The house has a stunning kitchen/family room, a well-equipped utility room and two further reception rooms.

The recently refurbished garden is very attractive, with large patio area, planters and lawn.

The house will be shared with the owner and one other lodger. The owner is a calm, quiet, fit and happy person, still working, always busy, a writer. The existing lodger is a research scientist, working in industry.

With kitchen/family room, plus additional reception rooms, plus a super bedroom and lovely outdoor area you will always be spoilt for choices as to where to be.

Altogether, a lovely peaceful place with great facilities, for your working time away from home.. Car parking is easy here. We can easily get two cars in the drive (not blocking each other) and there are lots of further spaces within 20 or 30 yards.
