A spacious and peaceful double room is available in a large Victorian semi-detached house overlooking a beautiful garden.

The house is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from Reading West station, with trains reaching Reading town centre in around 3 minutes and excellent connections to London. Regular bus services are also nearby, and you're within walking distance of Reading town centre.

The local area has everything you need, including a large Tesco, Lidl (just a 5-minute walk away), cafés, restaurants and a great selection of takeaways.

About the house

For most of the time, you'll be sharing with just me, the live-in landlord. I work from home, so the house is usually occupied during the day. I have my own en-suite bathroom, meaning the main bathroom is rarely used by anyone else, giving you a great deal of privacy.
It's a friendly, relaxed and respectful home with a calm atmosphere. Occasionally, my daughter returns from university for the weekend.

This room would suit a tidy, considerate professional looking for a comfortable home rather than just somewhere to sleep.

All bills are included in the rent, including high-speed Wi-Fi, making budgeting simple. And there is no cat any more in case you dont like pets.
