Live-in landlord with two teenage daughters — we'd prefer a female housemate for a comfortable, respectful household. We also have a friendly short-haired cat, so you'll need to be happy living with pets.

The room: A bright, comfortable single room with a built-in wardrobe, drawer unit, and desk — great for studying or working from home.

The home: A four-bedroom family house with a shared bathroom (shared with my daughters), a large fully-equipped kitchen-diner, and a lovely garden. Off-road parking for one car and a secure shed for bike storage are both available.

Location: Just a 10-minute walk to Earley train station, with direct links to Reading and London. Local buses connect easily to Reading and Bracknell, and the University of Reading is close by — ideal for students or professionals. You're also within easy reach of shops, supermarkets, cafés, parks, gyms, and leisure centres, plus several pubs and restaurants nearby. Reading town centre and The Oracle shopping centre are a short trip away.

About us: We're an active, friendly household into football, netball, handball, running, cycling, films, and music of all kinds. We're also urban beekeepers with an apiary in the garden — happy to show you the ropes if you fancy trying it!

No minimum stay required. Rent is £550/month, with WiFi and all bills included.
