Double Room Available in Friendly Houseshare

Hey everyone!

We have one room available in our house in Bedminster Down.

The room is a good-sized furnished double with a desk, clothes rail and chest of drawers. Rent is £770 per month including all bills (ultrafast Wi-Fi, gas, electricity, water, council tax and insurance).

The house is a modern four-bedroom semi-detached property in a quiet new build development with great views across the city. It’s around a 10-minute walk to Bedminster, with a bus stop just outside the estate and Parson Street station nearby for easy access to Temple Meads.

Downstairs is all shared living space, including a large living room, spacious kitchen/diner, downstairs WC and garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need, including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of storage space.

Outside there’s a nice garden with a seating area, gas BBQ and bike storage. There’s also some outdoor gym equipment and a cold plunge for anyone brave enough!

You’ll be sharing with myself (Taz), David and Jake. We’re all in our early-to-mid 30s and work in Sales, Energy and IT.

We also have a very weird but friendly Sphynx cat called Cairo, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with a cat (and the occasional demand for attention!). He is hypoallergenic for anyone worried.

We’re a sociable house and get on well together. During the week things are generally pretty relaxed (gym, cooking, watching tv) while weekends might involve going for food and drinks, days out hiking, biking, wild swimming etc or just chilling if hungover! It’s not a party house, but we do occasionally have friends over.

We’re looking for a like-minded guy or girl (roughly 22–40) who’s easy-going, respectful and happy to be part of the house rather than just renting a room (although we do all value each others privacy). We all do our bit to keep the place clean and tidy, so we’d be looking for someone with a similar attitude.

The room is available from 1st June. A deposit of one month’s rent is required, along with references. The minimum term is 6 months, although we’d ideally prefer someone looking for a longer-term home.
