Large Double Room Available in Friendly Houseshare

Hey Everyone,

There’s one room available now in my house located in Bedminster Down.

Great location overlooking the city in a new build development. 10mins walk from Bedminster, 10mins to the city centre by car or 20mins by bus (stop is right outside the estate), parson st station is also close by for links to temple meads.

The room is a large fully furnished double with desk, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers, and is up for £735. All the bills work out an extra £125 per month on top (ultrafast Wi-Fi, gas, electricity, water, council tax and insurance).

The house is a four bedroom semi-detached new build. Downstairs is all shared living space. Starting with a large living room, which comes with a new leather reclining corner sofa and wall mounted 65” TV, great for movie nights or watching sports. There’s a toilet under the stairs, leading on the kitchen/diner, which is well equipped with all mod cons, air fryer, large twin door fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, big dining table, mounted 50” TV, and floor to ceiling french doors/windows that back out onto the garden.

The main shared bathroom is on the top floor, which has a full sized bath with waterfall and regular shower over. I have the en-suite so rarely use the main bathroom, if at all. Also on this floor is a heating cupboard for extra storage of bedding/towels etc.

Outside, the garden is set up with a bike shed, BBQ and decked seating area, perfect for the summer months. I’ve also installed a pull up bar on the side of the house, and have a collection of weights and kettle bells for outdoor workouts.

You’ll be sharing with myself (Taz), David and Jake. We’re professionals working in Sales, Energy and IT.

I also have a very friendly hairless Sphynx cat named Cairo. (He’s hypoallergenic, I’m normally allergic to cats but don’t have any issues with him).

Through the week we’re pretty chill, evenings and weekends we enjoy watching football, movies, going out for food/drinks, raves, gym, playing football, running, golf etc. It’s not a party house, but we do have occasional gatherings and will have friends/family stay over.

We’re looking for a like minded guy or girl, 22-40 who we’ll be able to call a friend and not just a housemate. Ideally someone who’s easy going and respectful. We appreciate a clean and tidy house, and all chip in with weekly household chores; which is something that would be expected of anyone joining us. I personally look after Cairo’s needs when it comes to feeding and cleaning, however he loves attention so it would be nice if you’re not totally against him looking for cuddles!

Move in date is 1st June. A deposit of one month's rent is required. Minimum tenancy term of 6 months, would prefer longer term but shorter terms will be considered if necessary. References are required, and lodger's contract will need to be signed on move in.
