Large double room available in a well-kept and relaxed house in Brislington, Bristol (BS4). Rent is £725 per month including bills.

Looking for someone to move in during June. Minimum stay is 3 months, after that it would continue on a rolling monthly basis with 2 months’ notice needed if planning to move out.

This is my home rather than a standard rental, so it’s furnished to a really good standard and has a comfortable, homely feel throughout. The house includes a large TV, big fish tank, outdoor space for BBQs, and a relaxed atmosphere where everyone gets on well and respects the space.

I’m a relaxed live-in landlord, quite proactive with sports and staying active, and I think having a comfortable home to come back to is important. Having good relationships with housemates matters a lot too — just looking for trustworthy, respectful and easy-going people who treat everyone well.

Everyone in the house tries to keep shared spaces clean and tidy, so looking for someone considerate who’s happy to do the same.

There’s also a very friendly cat in the house, so probably not suitable for anyone with cat allergies. Important that whoever moves in is good with animals and treats both the cat and housemates kindly and respectfully.

Lots of bus routes nearby
Sainsbury’s only a 2-minute walk away
Close to gyms, cafes and local amenities
Easy access to Bath Road and Temple Meads

As long as you do the basics — pay rent on time, keep shared spaces clean, be considerate, and treat people well — we’ll get on absolutely fine. Reliability is important, so if someone is regularly late with rent payments then this probably won’t be the right fit.
