Spacious Double Room – St Werburghs/ near City Farm

This is a lovely, spacious double room on a quiet road in St Werburghs. The room has a double bed, plenty of storage, and a small desk tucked into an alcove.

You’ll share a clean, newly renovated bathroom.

The house is a busy, slightly imperfect family home, but we aim to keep it generally clean, calm, and friendly. Most of the time it’s just me here, with my daughter staying during university holidays. We also have a lovely, friendly (and occasionally barking-mad!) dog.

Between us we have a wide range of interests including exercise, cinema, art, study and current affairs. We’re all working or studying full time.

We’re looking to share the house with someone who is working or studying full time (sorry, no full-time WFH), easygoing, self-sufficient, and happy to keep noise down in the evenings. We have a fortnightly cleaner for communal areas, so ideally someone who’s relaxed about the odd bit of mess but happy to keep shared spaces tidy.

The house tends to be quite calm in the evenings, so it would suit someone who enjoys a peaceful home environment.

St Werburghs is a great area to live. The Climbing Centre and City Farm are a 2-minute walk away, there are good local shops nearby, and Purdown and Eastville Park are close for running or walks. The city centre is about a 20-minute walk or an easy bike ride.
