Looking for a home that saves you money, time and energy while offering a lovely community to be part of? We have a room available in our friendly, eco-conscious home, right on the doorstep of the beautiful Blaise Castle Estate!

🏡 About the House

We’re a household of 6 living in a beautiful eco house designed for comfortable, low-impact living. Our home is a passive house, meaning it’s super energy-efficient, with low energy bills and the added bonus of clothes drying incredibly quickly! We have a bathroom/shower and separate shower room downstairs with three toilets in total. Underfloor heating, solar, all rooms have air & heating control for fresh clean air (Clothes dry quick with X2 large victorian hangers)

In house Co-working space & extra living room space

We have a lovely co-working space which anyone can use, with a lovely big balcony overlooking wales and gets all the sun sets the rest of Bristol doesn't see! (Best bit of the house) and a mezzanine spare bed above / extra living room space for break away quiet time.

Cabin

We are currently building a cabin in the garden for lovely Mollie to move into which is on the top level of the garden. We have all build this together and enjoy other craft activities from time to time.

🍲 Shared Food, Shared Savings

One of the best things about living here is our shared food system. Each person takes a turn cooking once a week (relaxed rota to work around you), meaning we all save money, time and enjoy better-quality meals together. Less stress around food shopping and cooking, and more time to enjoy life! As well as this mostly all food is organic (we order with Essentials trading and save a lot with bulk orders, more than an average shop in Lidl!!) The house communal meals are vegan but all dietary requirements are welcome (yes even meat, in fact we have more meat eaters in the house currently).

A lovely mezzanine room in a warm, welcoming home. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys communal living, values sustainability and appreciates having their own space too. The room has its own living room space below with bed up a ladder, see pictures.
