The room is spacious and characterful, with venetian plaster walls, original wooden floors, high ceilings, chandeliers, ornamental fireplace, a very comfortable superking-size bed and small sofa. It has an adjoining bathroom with roll-top bath and hand shower, and plenty of space to relax in a calm and tranquil space.

The house is a lovely historic property overlooking the Floating Harbour/River Avon, within easy reach of Clifton Village, the Nuffield Hospital, the City Centre and Bristol's main business areas.

We're looking for a professional who needs a comfortable Bristol base during the working week and normally returns home at weekends. It would particularly suit someone working in Bristol regularly who wants somewhere that feels more like a home than a weekday hotel.

You'll have use of the fully equipped kitchen, washing machine / tumble dryer and bedding / towels / wi-fi / bills / cleaning are included.

Available Monday evening to Friday morning. We're also happy to discuss fewer nights if needed. You would be welcome leaving a small bag or case of belongings over the weekend and to store a bike in our cellar.

We are professionals (lawyer / finance), with adult children who mostly live away. We have a small, very friendly, dog.
