I’m looking for someone to join me in my Easton home! I moved in a couple of months ago and am gradually making the house a home to share with a like-minded lodger / friend.

Your room:

Light and calm, overlooking the garden. Fully furnished with a small double bed, chest of drawers & built-in wardrobe.

Rest of the house:

Downstairs we have a lovely dining room which connects into the open plan kitchen / diner / garden room, with amazing natural light (feels like the sky is in the house!) and cosy sofa area facing the garden.

The garden is quite special in not being overlooked by our neighbours opposite, giving it a real cocooned feel with festoon lights and a fire pit for evening gatherings with friends.

Main bathroom is upstairs, there’s an additional loo downstairs. Front living room with a wood burner is not currently available / in use. Once it’s set up in time for the autumn, rent will become £665 pcm + bills.

About me:

I’m Laura, founder of a non-profit company focused on menstrual cycle awareness & tracking. I love dance, nature connection, wild swimming & camping, saunas, soulful / silly / thought-provoking chats, creative cooking & seasonal celebrations.

I like to treat home as a bit of a haven, and also a cosy gathering place to host friends. As someone to live with I’m clean, tidy, warm, respectful, communicative & self-aware.

Always keen to build genuine connection with the people who I live with (several of whom in the past have become lifelong friends!), while also balancing our independent lives.

Other (misc) notes:

I eat occasional fish & meat so it’s not a vegetarian household. Organic / eco ethos including household products. No pets. There’s a bike shelter outside the house.

Council tax band A. Not suitable for working from home. If you’re looking for a coworking space then there are a few that I can recommend (including the one that I go to nearby 😌). I can also orientate you to the local neighbourhood & fun happenings if you’re new to Bristol. This home would be a lovely soft place to land.

Road will be closed on 27 June for the annual street party - move in the day before and you’ll have an awesome intro to our neighbours the next day! 🥳✨
