It’s a lovely two-bedroom house with a shared kitchen and living room, plenty of attic storage. It has a garden (with a BBQ) which gets lots of use when the weather is good! Then in winter there’s a working fireplace and a projector for the occasional movie night.

I’m a live-in landlord, although I’m going to be away for a while, so I’m renting out my main bedroom from mid-September/1st October. The other room is rented to a 30-year-old Australian professional female.

The house is kept clean and tidy, and I’m particularly fond of the garden, so I’m looking for someone who will treat the place as their home and look after it too.

It’s definitely not a party house – the vibe is relaxed and fairly quiet, but still friendly and sociable. Equally happy heading to a beer garden for a drink or getting outdoors for a hike at the weekend.

The road backs directly onto the cycle path, so it’s an easy cycle into Bristol city centre (or just one stop on the train to Temple Meads). There are loads of great local cafés, pubs and restaurants nearby, including The Garden of Easton, as well as a lovely community garden.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone friendly and considerate who wants a comfortable, homely place to live rather than just a room.
