Hello future potential housemate!

Location & House
I live in the Eastville BS5 area, I'm a live-in landlord (31, female) with an unfurnished double room on the ground floor, available from 26th September 2026 until the end of March 2027. I can furnish the room if needed, and there is flexibility with the move in date. You’d be joining a house with myself and Maddy (30) who is due to move into the other double room on 26th Sept. I live close to the cycle path, Green Bank Cemetery, Rajani’s superstore, and there is on-street parking. The closest bus stop with buses to the city centre is an 8-minute walk away. We are a queer & neurodivergent friendly household!

A little about me & Maddy: I'm friendly, conscientious, and currently finishing my doctorate in psychology; I work in mental health. I enjoy creative hobbies like painting, love to dance, craft, run, do yoga in the mornings, have cosy evenings in, or a games night. This is not a party house, but I do enjoy having friends over from time to time. Maddy is kind, fun, sociable, creative (painting/sculpture and tailoring), plays music (the clarinet) and works in mental health as well.

An ideal fit for the house is someone kind, friendly, outgoing, who enjoys a relaxed environment and communal living, can communicate well, is clean and is mindful of the shared space.

We have a cat who is due to move in so unfortunately pets won’t be accepted.
My current housemate (who is moving to Japan) and I usually share food shopping and take turns cooking, which has worked really well. I'd love to continue that if it's something you'd enjoy too, however I am aware this may not work for everyone (I'm pescatarian, but happy to make it work around different diets!). We also take it in turns to clean the house.

• Bills come to approximately £135 pcm per person. To keep bills low, we have a schedule of a few hours heating in the morning/ evening.
• 1 Shared bathroom, kitchen and separate living/dining room.
• DSS welcome.

If you think you might be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you!
