🌳 One double room available in our lovely Thingwall Park home (BS16) available now.
We're looking for someone to join our chilled household on the edge of Eastville Park.
💷 Rent: £750pcm
⚡ Bills: All Included (including council tax)
The room:
A quiet double bedroom with wardrobe (not seen in current picture), chest of drawers, under-bed storage, curtains.
The house:
A characterful 1930's house with a shared kitchen, living room, bathroom, plus an extra downstairs shower and toilet in the utility room with washing machine and dryer. There's also space for a home gym in the garage and storage, if you need it.
The real highlight is the large living room with wooden floors and a wood-burner, plus the garden is a sun-trap. In the Summer we make the most of it, eating on the outside table and putting on the external fairy lights.
📍 The location is genuinely brilliant.
Thingwall Park is a lovely community-led area with great access to the park one street away and by bus into town. It’s a peaceful residential street with loads of greenery with a short walk to Fishponds high-street. You'll have independent cafés, the best pub in Bristol (The Star) that hosts lots of different nights such as Irish folk music and local bands. There are a few amazing food spots within easy walking distance such as Fed, Gorilla Thai and Mamma P’s Caribbean. With Stapleton Road station a short bus ride, the Bristol–Bath Cycle Path, Eastville Park, Greenbank Cemetery, good bus connections, and beautiful riverside walks all within easy reach, you get the best of both worlds: quick access to central Bristol while still having plenty of green space and quiet places to unwind nearby.
About us:
You'll be living with two housemates (38 and 37). Pets welcome with discussion. 🐱🐶
We're down-to-earth, enjoy a good chat, a cuppa and a catch-up, and being the kind of household where people look out for each other. We often share a meal, or just a bit of hanging out in the kitchen.
We're queer-friendly and generally aiming to create a warm, welcoming home where people can be themselves. We both agree that good communication, mutual respect, and a bit of consideration for each other go a long way.
This isn't a party house. That said, we do enjoy the occasional birthday, garden gathering, or cosy get-together. Most of the time we're chilled, watch films, listen to music and occasional cooking.
There is space in the garage for a home gym and storage, if required.

I’d love to hang out, share a drink now and then, but I’m equally respectful of personal space and downtime.
