5 Bedroom House in Horfield.

We’re looking for one new housemate to join our home. We’re hoping to find someone who wants to be part of a friendly, relaxed household rather than just somewhere to eat and sleep.

I’ve lived here for nearly three years and will be very sad to leave, but I’m relocating to South Bristol.

We’re all aged 26–35, so someone of a similar age would be a great fit.

The room is £595 per month, with a deposit of one month’s rent. It comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a desk.

Bills aren’t included but usually work out at around £150 per person per month. The property is Council Tax Band C.

The house has a large shared living room, separate dining room, kitchen, shower room and bathroom. There’s plenty of on-street parking nearby with no permit required.

It has all the usual appliances (washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, large freezer, TV, etc.), plus a lovely back garden with a raised vegetable bed, BBQ, and seating area. Our landlord is relaxed, responsive, and has always treated us well.

The house is well served by bus routes into the city centre, while also being surrounded by green spaces like Stoke Park and Horfield Common. Gloucester Road is just down the road, with loads of independent cafés, shops, and pubs. There are also nearby Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, two Co-ops, Eastern European food shops, and Horfield Leisure Centre with its gym and pool is only a five-minute walk away. The Wellington pub is literally across the road.

You’ll be sharing with four lovely housemates (two men and two women). We’re all easy-going, tidy, and enjoy having a friendly atmosphere at home while also respecting each other’s space and independence.
