Looking for a friendly, tidy and laid back housemate (preferably female, 30+, who enjoys open communication) to join me and one other tenant in a lovely 1930s semi-detached home.

The house has plenty of character, with a separate kitchen and cosy lounge featuring a wood burner — perfect for relaxing in the evenings. There’s also a good-sized garden to enjoy during the warmer months. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower/bath, and a downstairs toilet.

The location is ideal for professionals working at Southmead Hospital, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, and other nearby employers, with excellent transport links and local amenities close by.

A bit about me: I’m a 40 year-old female Scientist that works in Genetics. I love being outdoors - camping, hiking, backpacking, yoga, sauna and cold-water swimming. I moved to Bristol for uni and have travelled quite a bit since moving here. I bake bread, make kombucha, kimchi, and am passionate about cooking. I’m a regular festival go-er and I love music. My dog stays now and again so liking dogs is a must.

A bit about my housemate: I'm Rita, a portuguese part-time art psychoterapist and also work in a College. I've been a Designer for 14 years but on a hiatus from that. I am musical and play soft music instruments like the harp and harmonium and enjoy writing and creating images. I love nature and the outdoors, and enjoy going to conscious dance sessions, jams around the fire, kirtans and other cultural happenings. For me the house is like a recharging cozy space and I love for it to feel a peaceful place to recover. I benefit from direct communication and openness, practicing exchanging feedback in non defensive ways, addressing any issues timely where possible to nourish a warm authentic atmosphere.

The available bedroom is a double on the first floor, dimensions 4m x 3m. Room has a large window looking out to the garden and is very quiet. Rent is £630per month. Bills will come in ~£154 per month (council tax, tv licence, energy (gas and electric), broadband Wi-Fi /tv, insurance, water). Available from the 6th July
