Double Room in Relaxed, Cosy Home

I have a double room to rent from the start of March in my lovely 3 bed house in Knowle.

The house offers:
• Large open-plan living and dining area
• South-facing garden with wildflower meadow, pond & apple tree
• Home office available most of the time
• Off-street parking
• Bike shed + extra storage
• Recently renovated kitchen
• 15 mins cycle or bus to town (73 bus near the door)


It’s a calm, tidy home in a friendly residential area, with lovely neighbours on both sides. 😊

You would be living with me, Keir, an environmental consultant whose interests include nature, the outdoors, football, tennis, books, dancing and more. I work full time in the town centre and WFH occasionally. I'm friendly and would be happy to socialise when I'm around, but happy to chill independently also. I tend to be out and about most weekday evenings, so you’d have the place to yourself a lot of the time.

The house is kept clean and tidy, and I would be looking for someone who is the same. I tend to be relatively relaxed and chilled at home, sometimes having friends over and a few parties a year, and would like someone who also has an easy going vibe to get along with 🤝. The garden is beautiful in the summer and could suit a budding gardener?

Looking for a friendly professional, working broadly standard hours (ideally not WFH all the time). I'm open to low maintenance pets (fish, hamster, lizard etc), but unfortunately no cats or dogs, sorry. I'd also prefer someone that wasn't moving in with a gargantuan amount of stuff!

This is a place to feel like home, not that you're a guest in someone else's house. You would be free to have friends/family members/partners to stay, and would welcome any decoration ideas!
