Available is a furnished double room from the 12th June in a 3-bed house on Leinster Ave, BS4. Location wise, Broadmead is about a 15-min drive/cycle, 30-40 mins bus, or 60-min walk.
The Room/House
• The room is furnished with a double bed and chest of drawers (these can be removed if required). The dimensions are 3.1x3m. You are welcome to bring any of your own furniture etc.
• The kitchen has an oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, refrigerator, freezer, pantry, all crockery and cutlery, pans etc.
• The garden is a good size and is a lovely space to hang out in the day and evening. You are welcome to help/grow things in the garden but no obligation to!
• All bills included in the rent
Us
I'm Lewis (36), a live-in landlord, also sharing with my lodger Karl (39). We are friends and like to run a friendly and respectful household. Cat lovers are required as I have my cat JoJo, he's an old boy so he mostly spends his days sleeping and eating but will need regular fuss. Sometimes I'm away for a couple of days so someone who is happy to feed him and keep him company would be really appreciated.
I am a musician and would love to have someone here who is also creative. Karl is a brewer and a social creature and over the summer will be mostly frequenting Bristol's finest bars, occasionally I join him but I spend more of my time at home working on music.
I would also prefer someone who gets my regular brent/partridge/peep show references.
The Important Bit
I am beginning the process of selling the house, so unfortunately I can't guarantee a minimum/maximum length stay, so the room would suit someone who is in Bristol for a few months, or needs somewhere nice to live whilst finding something more permenant. I promise the respect of informing you of any updates, and for as long as we live here, you are welcome to. If you find somewhere better for you before we have to move out, that is fine also.
