Spacious room for one in owner-occupied house

University-registered students (undergrads or postgrads) only. Room available now.
One spacious, fully-furnished, first-floor bedroom for one student or postgraduate in a large, light, colourful, quiet, non-smoking, environmentally-aware house in St Andrew's, near Montpelier Station.

No agency fee or deposit. Central heating, water, electricity, wifi and council tax are included in the rent. Landline and contents insurance are not provided.

The house is four minutes’ walk from the Arches on Gloucester Road, five minutes from Montpelier Station, 25 minutes walk to the UoB campus, circa 30 minutes direct bus ride to UWE.

Share with the owner. Double bed, desk and chair, armchair, central light, bed and reading lights, cupboard, hanging rail, shelves, bedside table, floor rug, curtains are all provided. Duvet, pillows, bed linen and towels can also be provided for a small, additional fee if required.

Shared space includes modern, family bathroom with shower, bath, basin and toilet; large kitchen and dining room. Washing machine, clothes drying cupboard and refrigerator are available.

We expect you to use environmentally-friendly toiletries and other consumables and no unnecessary packaging or one-use plastics. We do not share the house with anyone who eats meat or fish, is a smoker or who ever smokes cigarettes or e-cigarettes. We walk, cycle and use public transport, and we do not let the room to anyone who wants to use or park a car in Bristol.

One-off, additional guests may stay in the guest room by arrangement only, with an additional fee. Apologies, our home is not disabled accessible. International, overseas, BAME, LGBT, vegetarian and/or vegan university students and researchers are welcome.
