Hi future flatmate!
My current flatmate is moving to London soon so I'm currently on the lookout for a new flatmate to replace her. She has not yet given in her notice, but is planning on moving in the next month to couple of months, so if you have a bit of flexibility on your move-in date, this is the kind of place for you!
About the flat:
The flat is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat in Old Market with a shared living room/kitchen. It's a fairly modern flat and came completely unfurnished, so all of the furniture in the living area is shared by me and my flatmate and will remain when she leaves. The double bedroom is a really great size with space for a wardrobe, desk and double bed. The bedroom is an ensuite and has its own (very) small balcony. (My flatmate will probably be interested in selling on some of her current furniture to a future flatmate, if you are interested).
The flat is located in Old Market, about a 10-12 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk!) to Temple Meads and Cabot Circus only a 10 minute walk away. It's super central (one of the huge perks of living here!) and is in an area with tons of character and a few great restaurants nearby.
The current bills come out to around £200 each (including water, electricity, council tax - band b, and internet).
The current rent is currently £715 each per month, and it was last increased in May 2026.
About Me
I'm Electra (28), I'm half Greek, half Australian. I grew up in Dubai and moved to Bristol in 2017 to study my undergraduate degree. Since then, I moved around a bit but settled on returning to Bristol almost 3 years ago and I've fallen in love with the city all over again. I work full-time in the charity/legal sector. I'm a pretty sociable person and I'm often out and about during the week seeing different friends, going for meals out (I'm a huge foodie!), a movie, or an evening of live music. I also love having friends over for a shared meal/dinner party every once in a while!
About You
Ideally, I'd love to be friends with my flatmate, to come home after work and chat about our days, occasionally share a home-cooked meal or have a movie night. At the same time, I do need my own recharge time and a quiet evening every once in a while, so I think I mesh well with extroverted introverts (or introverted extroverts maybe?).
It's really, really important to me that my flatmate respects the common spaces and that we're proactive in taking responsibility for cleaning/tidying. I am also really mindful of having guests around and would ask that any future flatmate be considerate of this too by giving me some notice and being mindful of quiet evenings during the work week in case either of us need an early night.
Any questions, please let me know!
It would be great if you could send me a message with a bit about you, what you do for work, interests, what you're like as a flatmate/routines etc.
Thanks!
Electra
