Big attic double in beautiful Victorian four-storey family home in Redland (BS6), with large garden and sitting room. Available now for six-months.

This large double room features stripped floorboards, original fireplace, a double bed, chest of drawers, dressing table with mirror, desk, bedside tables, clothes rail and rug. The bathroom for your floor (the house has three) is a few steps from the bedroom and features a roll-top bath with a shower over it, basin, two skylights and a lot of light.

There's a spacious second sitting room downstairs you're welcome to use as your lounge or for having friends over — shared with us in principle, but in practice we don’t use it much and hardly ever in the evenings. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with a range stove, air-fryer, large fridge-freezer, microwave etc. The dining area leads out to the back garden, both of which you’re welcome to use. We have full-fibre 1G broadband.

The house overlooks Redland Green; local grocery shops, delicatessen, coffee shops and cafes and restaurants are within an easy walk, Waitrose 7 mins and Whiteladies Road a little over a 10 minute walk.

We're a family of four — two of us, two boys 12 and 14 plus two friendly cats. The house is friendly and reasonably relaxed but obviously not a party house.

This is a fixed six-month arrangement, not a rolling one though it may be extendable by a few months. No undergraduate students please.
