New houseMATE wanted

My current flatmate is moving in with his partner, so his room will be available from 31st August. Flat including the room would be deep cleaned before hand!

The room is a good-sized double and comes with its own separate bathroom (bath with shower). The flat also has a large kitchen, spacious living area, and a decent-sized private garden/patio. The communal areas are mostly furnished, but if you have extra furniture or storage you’d like to bring, there’s definitely room for it as I’ll be loosing some!

A bit about me: I’m 26 and work as an engineer at a tech startup, with a hybrid schedule (usually in the office a couple of days a week). I’m also a Reservist. Outside of work I’m pretty active, I enjoy running, HIIT and the gym (which is conveniently just around the corner), and I have a sauna addiction!

I eat a fairly meat-focused diet, so if you’re similar that’s good! I also enjoy cooking and it’d be great to occasionally share meals if that’s something you’re into too - it makes life easier and is a nice way to catch up during the week!

More than anything, I’m looking for someone who I’d get on well with as friends as well as flatmates. I’d much rather share the occasional meal, chat over a coffee or head to the pub than just say hello in passing. Of course everyone needs their own space too, but it’d be great to find someone who enjoys a sociable home.
