Gorgeous garden view double room in St Werburghs

🍃 A bright, peaceful double bedroom is available in a beautiful home in the heart of St Werburghs from 1 October.

It’s a big, light-filled house with high ceilings, wooden floors and a garden that backs directly onto the park on Mina Road. I’ve lived here for two years, and the shared spaces are fully furnished and have been lovingly put together with lots of art, books and plants, with plenty of room to relax.

The available bedroom is spacious and peaceful, with a lovely view over the garden.

About the household

I’m Holly, 37, a writer, lecturer and retreat leader. I’m originally from London, but for the last three years I’ve called Bristol home and plan to stay! I love practising yoga and meditation as much as I do eating small plates and going to the pub, and I have a lovely network of friends and community here.

I’m looking to create a warm, communal home where we enjoy spending time together, while everyone still has plenty of independence and their own lives. The house is very well cared for, and I’d love it to continue to feel like somewhere we can all relax and enjoy the ease of being at home.

There are lots of great pubs and places to eat around St Werburghs, so it’s lovely to hang out locally too.

The household is mostly vegetarian. I love cooking for the people I live with and sharing meals when we’re around, as well as occasionally having friends over. There’s also a guest room, so there’s space for friends or family to come and stay.

I work from home, so the room would suit someone who mainly works outside the house. Leila the cat lives here too, so sadly no additional pets, as she likes to be the princess of the house.
