LARGE double room CB1 Cambridge near Addenbrookes

We are looking for a lodger from Sept 2026.

We are letting out our wonderful spare room. We live in a modern and very convenient house in a safe and friendly neighbourhood (CB18TH). It's a 10-minute walk to Addenbrookes hospital, 5-minute walk to Coop Supermarket, 25-minute walk to Cambridge train station. We are a laidback family with 2 very busy teenager (15 and 17), loads of sport and music, it's all go go go. However, the kids will be away for most of the summer.

We hope you like cats, in fact, you MUST like cats. We have a very sociable cat, Stripy, and he will want you to be his friend! So, the room comes with a cat.

The room is a quiet and secluded loft conversion room at the top of the house - the best room in the house! It is perfect for working in peace and quiet. It has a double bed, desk and chair and WiFi with Fibernet and a booster box in the room. And a great view!

You will also have your own cupboard space in the kitchen and a separate fridge, which is mostly yours - and you are welcome to eat as much homemade jam as you like while you are here! You are also welcome to borrow one of our bicycles. Bedding, towels, soap, washing powder etc. are all included if you want.

We have had lodgers for over 20 years, and we have always enjoyed the experience. Look forward to meeting you.
