Friendly houseshare close to Mill Rd

Hey! We’re looking for a new lovely housemate to join our house share, as our housemate has finished her postgrad and is sadly leaving us to move home!!

The room is available from 5 Sept 2026, there may be some flexibility to move in a couple of days earlier than this if needed - we can discuss! But this is when rent has to start by.

Total is £799/month, which is £679 rent + £120 pcm bills each (this more than covers bills and we get some money back periodically). Deposit TBC by landlord, we can check this but usually about a month's rent!

You will be sharing the house with three friendly and sociable professionals (2 girls, 1 guy) aged 29-34. We've lived together happily as a four for about a year, and Holly's lived here for 7 years as it's a lovely house. See an unflattering Christmas photo of us on our profile...

While we understand everyone needs their own space (we like our own space too and have v busy independent lives!) we are keen to find a new housemate who treats the house like their home, rather than somewhere they happen to live. We’d love you to be friendly and want to hang out sometimes! We like cooking, trash tv, movies, tennis, karaoke, reading, socialising, travel - lots of stuff!

The house is in a great location, just off Mill Road. Pubs, cafes and shops all nearby. It's fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher!) & comfortable/spacious living room. We've also got a patio/garden area and a secure bike shed.

The room is a great size, with a double bed, a walk in wardrobe and other standard furniture (i. e. desk and chair). See the pictures. It's a loft room, and you'll share a bathroom with one other housemate as the other two rooms (Holly's and Andrea's) are ensuite. We also have a downstairs toilet - so 4 bathrooms total.

We have a driveway and our road has free on-street parking.
