The larger double will be available again on Saturday 6th August at 1800 until 31st August at 1200 noon, or 1 month if the August dates are too short.

It’s great option for a design-minded, super-tidy and clean, respectful, professionals seeking a unique place for a temporary letting. The apartment can offered fully-equipped with all the kitchen items too if you wish. We can consider loaning bedlinen and towels to those coming from abroad for the summer. All bills, even council tax, are included. There is parking available on a first come, first serve basis.

I am an Architect and am organising this letting on behalf of a retired, Graphic Designer client to fund the next stage of the project which is at the apartment. I speak English, French and Spanish.

This is an 86m2, spacious, Modernist apartment designed in 1967 by Saunders, Boston, Brock Architects. It is spacious, south-facing, bathed in the most amazing light and overlooks the large, shared gardens. There is one spacious bathroom and two double bedrooms to be shared between two people maximum (one per room).

It has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated with a HAY Mags Modular sofa (a Danish brand), HAY designed for Ikea Ypperlig table, Arper Catifa chairs, Sissy-Boy throw, Muji/Hema/Habitat soft furnishings, Artemide Tolomeo lamp, Habitat and Muji beds, String shelves, and several vintage pieces.

There’s also a magnificent 10-year old, rubber-plant and many other plants throughout.

It is a skip and a hop (1.8 miles) into the historic city centre, 7 minutes by bicycle, 5 minutes by car from Waitrose and the M11. There’s a highly regarded gastro pub nearby called The Green Man, a post office and shop, fish and chips, dry-cleaning and petrol station nearby.

You will need to provide evidence of employment/internship/student funds or a guarantor, a landlord's reference, ID, visa status if applicable and 1 month's deposit.
