Hello! We're looking for friendly housemates for a unique double room in a shared house just off Histon Road - close to the City Center, Cambridge Science Park and the river. The house has a homely feel where you can kick off your shoes and relax after a day at the office. The space is available from beginning February, long-term tenants preferred! You will be joining a group of girls and guys in their twenties and thirties.

The room is a spacious and on the ground floor with good storage and a work space for any home working needs.

The room is furnished with a single bed and mattress, spacious mirrored wardrobes, blackout blinds, a desk and a chair.

The house is a clean and tidy where people are respectful of each other. There are two shared bathrooms and the shared kitchen, albeit compact and bijou, has plenty of storage units, gas hob & oven, worktop area, a large refrigerator, freezer as well as washing facilities. There is a conservatory to the rear of the house that leads to the garden where you can enjoy the sunshine (when we have it!)

The location is very central, just off Histon Road, close to supermarkets and shops. It’s a seven minute cycle into City Centre and a stone’s throw from the River Cam. If you commute, it’s only a 20 minute cycle ride to the train station and there are Voi scooter parking spaces close to the house.

Outside the house, there is a patio and large back garden, and plenty of bicycle storage available in the back. There is off-road parking in a quiet residential area.

A fortnightly cleaning service and broadband are included in the rent, as are all other utilities. (This includes electricity, council tax (Band C) , water and gas.)

Professionals are preferred, but we will consider mature/graduate students based on fit to the rest of the house. Sorry we don't allow pets.
