Sunny, comfortable double room in family home

In my colourful and welcoming house I have a good sized double room with a double bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail, shelves and small desk and chair. There is a shared bathroom with shower, and a kitchen and light airy dining room looking onto a generous garden. It's situated just off Mill Rd, 10 minutes walk from the station and 15 mins to the city centre.
I have worked in education for much of my life and now work part time as a gardener...so lots of plants around!
I have a daughter who was brought up in this house and is currently a resident doctor starting specialist training in Liverpool, so only here occasionally.
I'm looking for someone who will be mostly out at work so it's not suitable for you if you work remotely. There is also no parking available as it is so central.
I like my own space and am respectful of others but am also sociable and would be happy to occasionally share a meal and a chat.
I've had many lodgers and we've always managed a good balance. Most have been young professionals working in a variety of fields.
Being my home it's important to have someone I feel comfortable with and is, to some degree, like minded, so sharing some interests would be good
I generally prefer short term lets (2-4 months) but would consider slightly longer for the right person.
