We have a large double room available in our three-bedroom home from the weekend of 31 October. The house has a spacious garden, free parking and views over the fields.

The available room has its own en-suite bathroom and comes furnished with a double bed with under-bed storage, two bedside tables, two lamps and a wide chest of drawers. The grey dressing table shown in the photo is no longer there, leaving space for a desk.

Fast broadband and all bills are included. The house is fully furnished and has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, iron, ironing board and kitchen utensils. New bedding is also provided. As the home is already well equipped, it would best suit someone with relatively few belongings.

The second double room is occupied. Its occupant is a friendly, tidy professional who works Monday to Friday in aerospace and enjoys fitness and sport. He uses the family bathroom outside his room.

We’re looking for a considerate professional who will enjoy living in a clean, well-kept home. The available room is for one person only; no couples.

The village is quiet and has a local post office, co-op, and community activities, including bingo nights. Tesco at Bar Hill is around a 10-minute drive away, and Cambridge city centre is around 20 minutes by car. There is a local bus service into Cambridge, though the location is best suited to someone who drives or is happy to cycle around 30 minutes into the city.
