Beautiful spacious houseshare in Cambridge

Large two bed houseshare, with beautiful garden, close to gym, Tesco, pubs and bus stops. 10min cycle and 20 min bus to central Cambridge, 10 min bus to Cambrudge North station.

Flexibility with move date is possible, if you wanted to move in a few weeks earlier.

Communal areas are furnished.

The bedroom comes unfurnished.

I have furnished the communal areas with a sofa, dining table and chairs, kitchen appliances, while the washing machine and fridge are supplied by the landlord. Although there is space for additional items like your own bookcase for example.

YOUR ROOM
The available room is the larger one measuring 3.8m x 3.5m, my current housemate is able to comfortably fit a double bed with walkways on both sides, desk, double wardrobe, bookcase and chest of drawers. It's a good spot for light in the day if you are into plants. The other option could be my room, which measures 3.5 x 2.9 meters, the rent would be cheaper at £650 per month.

BILLS
For bills in the winter, these come to £190, but in the summer and part of spring these go down to £150. The property is managed through an estate agent, but I am able to replace my housemate myself, who is leaving end of september, this date can be a little earlier if flexibility is needed.

THE HOUSE
The house has lots of hidden storage, two large sheds, we would both have our own fridges and plenty of kitchen storage. The street has free parking.

LOCATION
I love the area; we are in the centre of Histon, home to lots of cute pubs, ponds, nearby nature reserves and farms, Tesco Express, dentists and salons. The street is quiet with truly lovely and helpful neighbours. The bus number 8 takes you to central Cambridge, while you can easily cycle in 10mins, or walk in 50 mins. The B bus takes you to Cambridge North.

The garden is incredible and really large, often I have a fire in the garden or enjoy some reading.

ABOUT ME
I am a 32-year-old who works in book publishing in central Cambridge, I am in the office twice a week and also often go to stay with family in London where I am from. I'm quite creative so you will find me drawing and my new obsession is making clay magnets or going on long country walks. I am really into films, but also enjoy my fair share of guilty pleasures on Netflix too. I try to keep quite busy by seeing friends on day trips or in pubs. But I do enjoy being able to have a glass of wine or dinner with my housemate too. I love great conversation, but also value reading the room and being able to give a housemate some me time if that's needed. I love to bake and cook, and love any excuse to share my creations!

You will be sharing with me my two friendly senior cats who mostly enjoy being outside. I have house shared for many years with them, so keep them very tidy and the good thing is I will take care of all hoovering! They are very gentle sociable cats who are well trained.
