Large, fully furnished master bedroom with private outdoor terrace available in a modern 3-bedroom home in the quiet Marleigh Park development.

This is a particularly quiet and relaxed house share – due to our working patterns, you’ll often have most of the house to yourself from Thursday through to Monday, so it’s ideal for someone who values their own space or works from home.

The house

Full use of a large living room with luxury sofa and 65” TV with Sky, Netflix, Disney+ & HBO Max, plus fully equipped kitchen/diner, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, air fryer, washer/dryer, bathroom with bath/shower, additional downstairs WC and secure bike storage.

Parking is available nearby, with a possible allocated space by discussion.

Who you’ll live with

I’m Kate, the homeowner, but I have a room in London and spend much of the working week there, as well as frequently being away for work or at weekends.

The other lodger, Conor, works at the Science Park and generally stays Tuesday–Thursday, working from the office during the day and isn’t usually around at weekends.

We’re friendly but independent and it’s very much a peaceful home rather than a busy house share.

Location

Marleigh Park has a Co-op, M&S Food, Italian deli/restaurant, Pilates studio and beauty treatments on/around the development.

Cambridge North is approx. 1.3 miles, Cambridge Business Park approx. 1.6 miles, with Newmarket Park & Ride nearby and good cycling/bus connections into Cambridge.

Rent

£900 pcm + £250 deposit

Includes council tax, electricity, water, fast broadband, Sky and streaming services.

There is an additional contribution towards heating during colder months – typically budget around £50 per person per month when the heating is regularly being used, depending on usage.

Looking for

One person only (no couples), ideally 25+, who is clean, tidy, considerate and looking for a quiet, comfortable home.

Occasional guests are absolutely fine, but this wouldn’t suit someone looking for a busy/social house share or who regularly has people staying over.

No smoking/vaping. No pets.

Available from mid-September (flexible) until 26 December initially, with the possibility of extending if it works well for everyone.
