Female Flatmate Wanted – £900/month, bills included 🏡

I’m looking for a female flatmate to share my modern two-bedroom flat in Scholars Walk. Ideally, I’m looking for someone in a similar stage of life, roughly mid-20s to 40s, who is either a student or a professional.

About the room

* Large, sunny double bedroom with plenty of natural light
* Lovely views over the leafy, quiet estate
* Blackout and privacy curtains
* Double bed
* Large wardrobe
* Desk and desk chair
* Bedside table
* Individual Hive heating control
* £900/month, including bills
* Ideally suited to someone staying for the academic year (and beyond), although the arrangement would be month-to-month rolling

About the flat

The flat is modern and recently renovated, in a secure building with only five other neighbours, mostly quiet young families and couples.

It includes:

* Unlimited WiFi
* Hive heating
* Alexa-controlled lights
* Dishwasher / Washing machine / Oven
* Secure bike storage
* Private parking space
* Shared modern bathroom
* Shared kitchen
* Shared communal sitting area

It’s approximately a 10-minute cycle into town, with the river, bars and pubs, large supermarkets, rowing clubs, gyms and plenty of green space all just a few minutes away.

About me

I’m a 33-year-old woman. I work part-time as a veterinarian and part-time coaching strength and conditioning and rowing. I work long and often unsocial hours, so I’m not around for much of the day and often away for a few days a month. I’m fairly quiet and don’t have a tonne of people over regularly but enjoy having a house party now and again if you’d be down? I’m equally happy having a chill home or something more social.

I’ve lived here with another 33-year-old student/professional since buying the flat. She has been here for 18 months but is now moving out to live with her boyfriend, so I’m looking for someone new to share the flat with.

I also occasionally dog-sit a Golden Retriever! She is extremely well behaved, quiet and very chilled. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who is dog-friendly and happy to accommodate her when she visits.

Who I’m looking for

Someone who is:

* Female
* Ideally in their mid-20s to 40s.
* A student or professional (ideally a student to save on council tax)
* Tidy and respectful
* Considerate of shared spaces
* Non-smoking
* Happy with a friendly but independent household
* Dog-friendly

Occasional friends or overnight guests are more than welcome, but I’m not looking for someone who regularly has lots of people over or has a live-in partner.

This flat would not be suitable for a male flatmate, so please don’t message if that applies to you.

If you think it could be a good fit, feel free to message me with a little bit about yourself, what you do and what you’re looking for in a house share!
