Double room in a relaxed house share in Cambridge

We’re looking for a new housemate to join our friendly, relaxed house share, ideally someone looking to stay for at least a year.

The room

The double room is available from 1 December for £650 per month, with a £550 deposit. The room is unfurnished, but the current tenant is happy to sell their bed, dresser and bedside table for £250 if you’d like them.

The house and location

The house is in Cambridge, really close to Mill Road and Coldham’s Common. The Beehive Centre and Cambridge Retail Park are also nearby, with plenty of shops and amenities close at hand.

There’s a shared lounge and dining area, a west-facing garden that gets plenty of afternoon sun, sheltered bike storage at the back of the house, a small downstairs toilet and a shared upstairs bathroom with both a shower and a bath.

A bit about us

You’d be living with two housemates, aged 26 and 35, who both work in tech. We’re friendly and always happy to have a chat, but we also have our own lives and respect each other’s space.

It’s a fairly quiet, chilled-out home with a relaxed atmosphere, so we’re looking for someone who would enjoy a similar environment.

- Bills: around £130 per month, rising slightly in winter
