The nook

Subletting my cosy attic room on Coleridge Road (CB1) from mid-December until mid to end of March. I’d prefer a 15 December start, but the dates are negotiable for the right person.

The room sits at the top of the house, so it’s quiet and private, with two skylights that let in lovely light during the day and blackout blinds for sleeping. It has a cute little sit-out nook under the window with a view over the street, perfect for a morning coffee or a book. It’s furnished with a single bed, a chest of drawers, a desk, a wardrobe and a mirror.

Large, well-equipped kitchen with an oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster and plenty of cupboard space
Bright utility/sunroom with a washing machine and breakfast bar
Lovely back garden with space to keep a bike

Rent: £600 per month, all bills included (Wi-Fi, gas, electricity, water and council tax). Deposit: £270.

15-minute walk to Cambridge station
30-minute walk to ARU and the city centre
A 5 minute walk to Mill Road’s cafés, shops and restaurants

Who I’m looking for: someone clean, tidy and considerate. The house is kept clean and well looked after, so I’d like the room and shared spaces to be treated with the same care. That means cleaning up after yourself in the kitchen, keeping noise reasonable and being respectful of housemates.
