Central bright double bedroom

I’m renting out a small double room in a flat right at the start of Mill Road. It’s a really central location, with both universities, the shopping centres, bars, restaurants, cinemas and pretty much everything in the city centre all within walking distance.

The flat has a spacious living room with high ceilings, a smaller kitchen, two bathrooms (one with a shower), and a large roof terrace which is great for BBQs, having a drink or just hanging out when the weather’s nice.

The room faces south, away from Mill Road, so it’s nice and quiet and gets plenty of sunlight throughout the year. It also opens directly onto the terrace. The room is partly furnished, with the current tenant planning to leave some of the furniture, including the bed and desk.

You’d be sharing with two young professionals, one guy and one woman. We’re both friendly, social and easygoing, and we’re looking for someone who’s clean, respectful and considerate and is comfortable with shared living. Ideally, we’d like someone who’s planning to stay for at least a year.

Rent is £700 a month, excluding bills. Bills usually come to around £200 each per month. There may also be some additional fees from the agency for drawing up the contract.
