Double room in a friendly houseshare

Hello! We're looking for a friendly housemate to join our 4-bedroom house. We have a double room available from 2nd September, sharing a bathroom with just one other. Rent is £652 + bills, which are ~£150 a month. (There will be a rent review in October when we expect the rent to increase a little, we should know by how much soon.)

The house is a ~5 min walk to the train station and Mill Road, as well as a short walk or cycle to the city centre. There is a large shared kitchen/dining space and a garage with space for bikes, as well as a lounge on the first floor and a small garden out back. Parking is available with a permit.

You'll be sharing with Evelyn (28), Louise (27) and Catherine (26), all young professionals working across medical communications, publishing and botany. It’s the three of us in my profile picture!

We're a friendly and sociable bunch, always up for a chat in the kitchen or to watch a TV series together (faves so far are Traitors & Race Across the World 🌎). Equally we all have our own hobbies/interests going on including bouldering, reading, running, music, board games and the outdoors.

We'd like someone who treats the place as a home and likes to keep things clean/tidy. Although the minimum term is 2 months in line with Renters’ Rights, you’d ideally be looking to stay for at least 6 months so that we can establish a comfortable vibe. No couples, pets or smoking please.
