A double bedroom in a spacious detached house set in a large garden on the edge of a quiet Cambridgeshire village. The property is near Huntingdon and close to the A1/A14 junction giving quick access to all major routes.

The room and that of another lodger are accessed via their own staircase and benefit from sharing their own Jack n Jill bathroom. On the landing of this staircase, there is a convenient breakfast area consisting of a fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave.

In the downstairs of the house and for shared use, there is a well-equipped modern kitchen/diner and a laundry room. There are two living rooms which can be used with mutual discussion. There is off-street parking and a large garden. Wi-Fi is available and Broadband speed is in the region of 65Mbps download. A well behaved cat lives in the communal areas of the house (not in the upstairs where this room is).

The house is near a village with a pub serving good food. Also within walking distance is the next village which has a licensed social club, another pub, a shop with a post office and pharmacy and a doctors’ surgery. Given the limited availability of public transport, A VEHICLE IS ESSENTIAL TO LIVE HERE.

While there is absolutely no smoking in the house – there is plenty of space outside to do so.
