Small Double Room Available – May Move‑In (Huntingdon, St Ives Area)

Our current tenant-a young professional who has been with us for over two years-is moving into his first home nearby in May. Once he leaves, we’ll take a week to refresh and repaint the room, ready for the next tenant.

We’re looking for someone friendly, respectful, and easy‑going to join our household. The tenancy will begin as short‑term, with the option to extend into a long‑term arrangement if we’re a good fit.

About the Room:
Small double bedroom
Double bed, large TV, and storage units
Lock and key provided for privacy

Optional: access to a large iTunes movie library, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Netflix for £10 extra per month

House Features:
Off‑road parking/driveway suitable for large vehicles
Shared bathroom
Access to the living room for relaxing
Access to the garden (smoking permitted outside)
Kitchen available for use—just clean up after yourself
All bedrooms in the home have individual locks
CCTV covering driveway and garage (24/7 recording)
No young children in the household

Location:
10‑minute drive to Huntingdon rail station (easy access to London)
15‑minute walk to town with guided bus route to Cambridge

About Us
We’re a calm, early‑rising family who enjoy a peaceful home. There are no set times for coming and going, but someone regularly arriving very late at night wouldn’t be a good fit. Occasional nights out are absolutely fine—just not every other night.

We also have a friendly collie. He barks when new people arrive but settles quickly, especially if you say hello. You’re welcome to ignore him if you prefer-he’ll get used to you either way.
