I have a bright and comfortable spare room available to rent in my 3-bedroom, 3-storey home, located just a short walk from Morrisons, local shops, and close to Hampton. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the city centre and train station, with good transport links.

The house layout:
• Ground floor: Kitchen, WC, and living room
• First floor: Two bedrooms (including the spare room) and a family bathroom – this bathroom would be for your sole use
• Top floor: My bedroom and en suite – so we’d each have our own floor for extra privacy

There’s also a large garden, three parking spaces (plus on-street parking), and the neighbourhood is peaceful and friendly.

A little about me:
I’m a professional working in the civil service, mostly from home, though I travel for meetings once or twice a week. I’m friendly, easygoing, and like to keep the house calm, clean, and well looked after. I’m also vegetarian and enjoy a quiet, relaxed lifestyle.

I share the house with Lola, my small Yorkshire Terrier; she’s incredibly friendly, great with people, other dogs, and children. You’ll need to be comfortable living with a little dog who will definitely repay you with lots of cuddles!

What I’m looking for in a housemate:
Ideally, you’ll be a respectful and tidy professional who values a peaceful and clean living environment. You don’t need to be vegetarian, but if you are, that’s a lovely bonus! What’s most important is that you’re considerate, happy to keep shared spaces clean, and comfortable with a little dog in the house.
